A study pod is a self-contained, acoustically insulated booth designed to provide individuals or small groups with a quiet, private space to study or work within a larger shared environment.

Dapapod study pods are freestanding and require no permanent building works, making them suitable for libraries, schools, colleges and universities.

Are study pods soundproof?

Dapapod study pods are not fully soundproof, but they provide substantial acoustic reduction of approximately 35–45dB.

At two metres, normal conversation inside the pod cannot be heard externally, making them highly effective for revision, video calls and collaborative work.

Do study pods require building work or special wiring?

No. All pods connect to a standard UK power outlet using a standard extension cable.

No planning permission, electrical installation or structural building work is required.

How long does delivery take?

Our typical lead time is approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation, including manufacturing, delivery and installation.
